Member Benefits

Member benefits

We provide numerous benefits to our members, ranging from friendship to numerous social opportunities throughout the year. We provide support for those wanting to learn more about the maintenance and mechanical aspects of their beloved BMW motorcycles, by hosting Service Days several times each year.

Members receive a good quality monthly magazine, BeeEm, which contains a message from the President, information from the BMW press club, members' contributions, the monthly calendar and members' classified advertisements. Members also receive discounts from some of the businesses which support our magazine with their advertising. Members are also entitled to receive a $50 subsidy once every three years when they complete an approved first aid or riding skills course.

Members who attend monthly meetings in Camberwell often have the benefit of hearing interesting speakers address the meeting on various topics. A satellite phone, owned by the club, is available for members to borrow when going on a club ride, or with friends, into remote areas.

VicRoads Club Permit Scheme
The VicRoads Club Permit Scheme allows Club members to ride/drive classic vehicles (25 years or older) for a limited time without the requirement of full registration. You must be a full member of our Club (i.e. own and operate a BMW motorcycle) and can join the Club Permit Scheme 4 weeks after the Committee approves your Club membership.

Before you proceed with your Club membership and/or a Road Worthy Certificate, we advise you to contact our Club Permit Coordinator, Warrick Tovey via email, clubpermitcoordinator@bmwmccvic.org.au, to establish that your vehicle would be suitable to join the Scheme with our Club.
