MotoCAP Open Day - For Your Information

MotoCAP will be holding a laboratory open day from 10am to 2pm on Saturday the 8th of March. This is a great opportunity for a ride to Geelong to see how motorcycle jackets, pants and gloves are tested for MotoCAP. The laboratory is in building NK of the Waurn Ponds Campus of Deakin University with signage on the day from the front gate of the University. No need to register, just turn up to see the testing in action.

MotoCAP is a partnership between Transport for NSW, State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA), Department of Transport and Planning (Road Safety Victoria), Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC), Lifetime Support Authority (LSA), Road Safety Commission, Department of State Growth, Australian Motorcycle Council and Accident Compensation Corporation in New Zealand.

Testing is carried out by the Deakin University Institute for Frontier Materials on behalf of the MotoCAP partners.
