Motorcyclist Awareness Month (MAM) is an initiative of the Motorcycle Community Engagement Panel (MCEP). MCEP liaises directly with the Minister for Roads and Road Safety Melissa Horne, the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP), Victoria Police and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC).  Our aims are to increase awareness of motorcyclists, build relationships between motorcyclists and other road users, and improve motorcyclists' safety on our roads.

SAVE THE DATE

On, Saturday 5th of October @10:30am Motorcycle Awareness Month (MAM) for 2024 will be launched at Transvaal Square, along the Geelong Waterfront.  The BMWMCCVIC invites you to attend the launch and represent the club and other motorcyclists.

The purpose of the event is to engage with all road users and communicate the benefits of safety when sharing the road.  It aims to raise awareness of motorcyclists, their vulnerabilities, and their road presence, with a focus on enhancing their safety.

Please note there is no planned ride to the launch.  However, please feel free to contact with other members to ride together before or after the launch.
