Yarrawonga Painted Silos Weekend

After a successful tour of the artistically painted silos with Lynne & Bob Rosenthal in western Victoria nearly two years ago, it is now time to visit a group of silos in north eastern Victoria mostly between Rochester, Benalla and Yarrawonga.
Saturday, Starting at the Calder Park Service Centre 8.30 for 9.00 departure, we head past Sunbury and Lancefield to Heathcote for Morning Coffee at Gaffney's Bakery about 10.30.
We visit the silos at Colbinabbin and Rochester before we have lunch at the Rochy Rumours Cafe in Rochester about 12.30 pm.
We cruise the wheat lands through Kyabram, with afternoon coffee in Nathalia, or Katamatite to Yarrawonga.
We stay overnight at Burkes Hotel Motel, ph 5744 3033 located on C373 Benalla Yarrawonga Road or a selection of accommodations in the main (Belmore) street of Yarrawonga, I suggest Belmore Motor Inn ph 5744 3685. Book your own accommodation.
Fuel at Woolworths Caltex 167 Belmore Street.
Dinner at 6.00 at Burkes Hotel 96 Belmore Street (ph 4744 3033)

We visit the silos at Tungamah, St James, Devenish, Gorambat and a tank near Winton Wetlands before having a late coffee in Glenrowan about 11.00 am.
Lunch at the Bonnie Doon Hotel about 1.30 pm.
Final coffee in Yea about 3.30 where we will end the ride.
Two days riding to visit eight Painted Silos for a total of about 660 km.
