This January meeting is the exception to the rule.
No meeting at the Petanque Club in Camberwell. We go riding.
We will meet at the Doncaster BMW Motorrad dealership (Doncaster Rd) from 5.00pm onwards for a 5.30 departure. Parking is available in front of the showroom and the friendly Doncaster BMW Motorrad staff will welcome you.
At 5.30pm Luke Pescarini will take you on a 45 minutes ride which will end at the Westerfold Park in Templestowe. Together we will meet for a barbeque and a social gathering. You will need to register for this event to help us with catering so that everyone receives something to eat. If you have a special dietary requirement please contact Winfried Hessling on 0403302230. Your cash payment of $5.00 at the event will help to cover the cost of the barbeque.
Anyone wishing to go straight to Westerfold Park should enter the park at the Main Entrance in Fitzsimons Lane (Templestowe). Follow the main road to the roundabout and turn left. Continue on the main road, passing Red Gum carpark to the Swamp Gum carpark where you will see the shelter, barbeques and playground.
In the meantime, make this a must in your calendar. It is one of the most enjoyable meetings of the year! Visitors, new and prospective members are most welcome.
